The Panora Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to bring their young children and come hunt for eggs for their annual Easter event.

Coordinator Jessica Hein says they will have their free Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday at the Guthrie County Historical Village beginning at 10am. She says there will be three different areas for ages zero through eight and older that will hunt for the golden egg. Hein explains that children will not only hunt for eggs but can learn about the animals in attendance.

“Currently, my family and I are hosting 14 baby chicks and a couple of bunnies that we’re going to be happy to bring down to let the kids enjoy holding them, and learn a little bit about what it takes to take care of a bunny or a baby chick.”

Hein says the Easter bunny will make an appearance for family photos
