Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls golf will be hoping to put up some good results in the coming meet that have this afternoon, when the club hosts a home meet at River Valley Golf Course in Adel against Ballard.

The Tigers are 2-1 versus Raccoon River Conference schools this year, with wins over Winterset and Carlisle and a competitive loss against Gilbert. Seniors Emma Mellencamp and Monica Thomas have been standouts on the team so far this season, as they have been able to lead the Tigers to quality success so far this season.

The Tigers have been trying to find more ways to get on the course, but tough April conditions have made it tough. With the season nearly the midway point, the big thing that the Tigers will be hoping for is more competitions, as more chances to get on the golf course will help improve their games.

The event starts at 4 pm, as the Tigers will be looking to put up a strong result against good competition.
