6:40am: A deputy conducted a welfare check on U Avenue near 330th Street.

8:59am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an assault in the 500 block of West State Street.

1:15pm: Rene Guzman 45 of Paton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

2:01pm: Zachery Waters 25 of Paton was booked into the jail for a violation of pre-trial release.

2:17pm: Kelsey Brooks 35 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

7:36pm: A deputy investigated a child custody dispute in the 500 block of N Avenue.

8:11pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a driving complaint in the 100 block of Ram Drive.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
