
Tuesday, April 19th
2:22am: An officer located an Open Overhead Door at 1001 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer secured the facility.
2:52am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the facility at 1002 North Cedar Street.
3:37am: Michael Eastman reported a Suspicious Vehicle at 205 West McKinley Street. The officer located an employee at the business checking on things, due to cold weather.
8:44am: Denise Harberts reported receiving a Scam Phone Call from a subject claiming to work for Amazon. He was attempting to get her to purchase Gift Cards and give him the numbers off the cards. She recognized the call as a scam and did not purchase the cards.
9:13am: Brittany Smith reported possible fraudulent charges on a family member’s credit card. The officer advised the cardholder would need to report the incident themselves to law enforcement.
11:06am: A caller reported a Suspicious Vehicle parked in a private parking lot in the 400 Block of North Elm Street. The officer spoke to the subject and advised it was
private property. The driver apologized and left the area.
12:11pm: Jason Sherlock reported the Theft of a rifle from 1200 South Mulberry Street. The officer has a suspect and is investigating the report.
2:40pm: Bailey Cunningham reported a Stray Dog near Cedar and Lincoln Way Streets. The officers did not locate the reported animal.
3:26pm: Shannon Faller reported a family member was receiving Unwanted Contact from a known male. The officer advised the family member needs to report the issue themselves.
4:08pm: A caller advised of a small dog in a vehicle for several hours alone at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officers did not locate the vehicle.
6:55pm: Sparky’s reported two Stray Dogs near 606 Hwy. 30 East. The officers were unable to capture the animals and they ran off.
9:25pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Marcia Devilbiss of Grand Junction being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
Wednesday, April 20th
8:53am: Jarod Rumley reported a male attempting to get not his residence at 501 West State Street. He reported the male was screaming and covered in blood. Officers located the subject in the area and learned he had been assaulted and shot at inside the residence at 600 West Lincoln Way Street. The male was taken to ER by the GC Ambulance. Officers are investigating.
2:03pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.
4:33pm: An officer checked the area of the 300 Block of South Wilson Avenue, after dispatch received a 911 Hang Up Call from the area. The subject was fine.
5:49pm: Gordon Herridge reported a tame white rabbit in his yard at 609 North Chestnut Street. Officers were unable to catch the animal.
6:04pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical call in the 500 Block of North Elm Street.
9:11pm: A caller advised of vehicles doing burn outs in the parking lot at 101 Ram Drive. The officer located a few vehicles in the area and spoke to the young drivers about the issue.
11:36pm: A caller advised of a subject riding a bike on West Reed Street. They found this to be suspicious, due to the time of night. The officer did not locate the subject.
