Tuesday night was a good night for the West Central Valley Wildcats in terms of competition. The boys track team was in Woodward for a meet hosted by the Woodward-Granger Hawks. Senior Reese Lottie took fourth in the 200 meter dash, with a time of 25.3 seconds, while junior Logan Jones grabbed a fifth place finish in the shot put event, with a distance of 35 feet 1.5 inches. Senior Tate Richter placed in two events, placing second in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.32 seconds, and first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute .3 seconds.

The boys soccer team also had a very competitive match, winning their game against the Des Moines Christian Lions in their second game, to only score 1 point. Tonight they’ll host the Panorama Panthers for a double header, and celebrate their seniors for Senior Night. Those seniors are Matt Gerling, Blake Sechrist, Wyatt Clemetson, Hunter Keller, Jadon Wilson, Mitchell Dickson, Dalton Harwood, and Jackson Doyle.
