There is Greene County high school boys’ golf, boys’ track & field, and boys’ soccer on today’s schedule, as well as a middle school track & field triangular at Linduska Field in Jefferson. With rain in the forecast it’s all weather permitting.

Coach Chad Morton’s track & field boys are in the Roland-Story Norsemen Invitational at Story City at 4:30 p.m. Jackson Morton runs at the Drake Relays in Des Moines at 8:15 a.m. Friday in the 110 meter high hurdles preliminaries. The field of 32 will be trimmed to eight for the finals race at 10:35 a.m. Friday. Friday afternoon is the new date for the rescheduled Gilbert Tiger Relays involving the Greene County girls and boys, then Saturday morning it’s back to the Drake Relays for the 4 x 100 meter relay prelims for both Greene County quartets. The girls are at 9:15 a.m. and the boys are scheduled for 9:45 a.m.

Coach Heath Telleen’s boys’ golf team goes to Woodland Hills Golf Course for a 4 p.m. meet today hosted by Saydel (Des Moines).

Coach Carl Behne’s Greene County boys’ soccer team will try and rebound from Tuesday’s home loss to Perry when they host Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) in Grand Junction tonight. JV is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the varsity at 7:30 p.m.
