Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers track and field competed in their district track and field met on Thursday in Adel, and the Tigers were able to find a pair of teams qualify for the state track and field meet. The girls were able to finish first with 198 points, and the boys 2nd with 172 points.

Olivia Tollari was able to finish first in the girls long jump with a mark of 18-10. London Warmuth was able to finish 2nd in the high jump with a jump of 5-05, that mark being a school record. Hallie Henfling was able to get a time of 25.62 seconds to get a 1st place finish in the 200 meter dash. Henfling also grabs 1st in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.46 seconds.  ADMs girls distance medley was able to flinish first with a time of 4 minutes 19 seconds. The girls 4×200 meter relay team was able to get a time of 1 minute 42 seconds. The girls 4×100 meter team dominates with a time of 48.80 seconds.

Vince Benetti was able to finish first in the high jump with a mark of 6-02. Brevin Doll finishes first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.o3 seconds. Doll finishes 1st in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.88 seconds. The boys 4×200 meter relay team finishes first with a time of 1 minute 29 seconds. The 4×100 meter relay team grabs a time of 43.05 seconds.

ADM boys and girls teams will be competing in the 3A state track and field on May 19th-21st next week, the Raccoon Valley Radio Network will be having life updates from Drake University in Des Moines throughout the three day event.
