“It’s just a huge honor honestly, it just proves to me that I am doing my job the way I’m supposed to be doing it, I guess.”

Next the Guthrie County Hospital had its own The Sunshine Award that recognizes the hard work of a Certified Nurse Assistant. Out of two nominees, Cris Schactner was awarded for her extraordinary work as a CNA. She explained that working at the Guthrie County Hospital is important to her.

“I work really hard but the main thing is that I work for the patients, the patients are the ones we really care for and of course with the teamwork that we have here at the hospital.”
