A trip to state is on the line today, as the ADM boys golf team will be competing at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah.

The Tigers were able to finish 2nd in their sectional on Wednesday at Ballard Golf and Country Club, grabbing a team score of 311. The other teams that will be participating in the event include Gilbert, Waverly-Shell Rock, and Independence.

ADM has been strong all season long between keeping the ball on the fairway and being tidy around the greens. The course spans 6,432 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, and has greens that are traditionally very quick, so ADM will have to continue their stellar short game.

The Tigers have had many standout golfers this year including Easton Korell, Sam Hlas, and Grant Jansen, and will look to them for more strong scores today.

The event will begin at 10 am this morning, as the Tigers will be hoping to find to get some qualifiers for the state tournament in the near future.
