Fitina Charlotte of Clive was traveling in the 18000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal when her vehicle struck a deer.  No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

Kram Nasser, age 32 of 7800 Iltis Dr.,Urbandale was traveling in the 18000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal at a high rate of speed when he attempted to use the left shoulder to pass and lost control on the gravel spinning sideways across the highway striking a heavy duty stop sign coming to rest in the ditch. Nasser was transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.  Nasser was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to maintain reasonable and proper speed.

Michael Scott Schmitz, age 34 of 2625 Warford St., Perry was arrested at the 14185 block of N Ave., Perry for criminal mischief and burglary.

May 15, 2022

Amber Krueger of Urbandale was driving near the 14000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal when witnesses saw the vehicle driving erratic. The vehicle hit gravel, lost control and began sliding sideways in both lanes of traffic. The vehicle then rolled over onto its top. Krueger was transported to Mercy Main. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $20000.00.

David Lee Dugan, age 32 of 1908 Evelyn St., Perry was arrested in the 31000 block of Dexfield Rd., Redfield for possess of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
