The last Spring Perry Farmers Market will be taking place this weekend for people to attend.

The spring market will take place for the last time this year from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday in the Perry Public Library Community Room. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the spring market has been well received.

“This was all based on popular demand, people wanting to have access to those vendors and their offerings more often throughout the year so we had these spring markets on the third Saturday of the month for the last three months, so this will be the last chance to join us for the spring farmers market but then we will be getting ready for the summer season.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that while it will be the last spring market people won’t have to wait much longer to get more farmers markets as the summer farmers market will get started in June through September and run on Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. with the first being on June 2nd.

“We have a wide range of vendors from produce, your fresh vegetables all throughout the season as well as wonderful baked goods, some handmade crafts and various special guests that join us throughout the summer as well.”
