adm-7

It’s a remarkably very busy Monday for ADM Tiger athletics, as they will be having many different sports competing in what is going to be an exciting day.

The action starts this morning for the boys golf team, as they will be competing at Veekner Golf Course in Ames for the 3A state golf tournament. The Tigers will be competing in the state golf tournament for the second consecutive year, as the Tigers were able to finish in 8th place last year at state, and will look to improve upon that result. The team will be teeing off at 10:30 this morning.

Boys soccer will be looking to extend their season tonight when they make the trip to Council Bluffs to take on the Titans of Lewis Central. ADM comes in at 8-9 while the top seed Lewis Central is 13-3. The Tigers are coming off of a 4-2 opening round win over Creston on Friday, with Rhylan Stine-Smith scoring two goals in the match, with the Tigers putting up 20 shots total on the night. Kickoff is at 6:30.

The girls softball team is coming off of a 4th place finish at state last year, and will have a big opening night game in Adel tonight when they take on the Boone Toreadors. Boone was the state runner-up last year in 4A, with both teams part of a difficult and unforgiving Raccoon River Conference. The Tigers return the majority of their team from last year, as they will look for a trip to state for the second consecutive year. The boys baseball team will also be playing Boone tonight as well. The softball game can be heard on True Country K1079, KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Both games first pitch will be at 7:30.
