While Mother Nature has made it difficult to make all of the games take place this week, the Panorama Panthers softball team has a home tournament today.

The Panorama Panthers girls softball team is getting ready to take part in their first tournament of the season and it gets to be a home tournament that will be taking place today beginning at 9 a.m. in Panora. The Panthers girls will be taking on both Manson-Northwest Webster as well as Grand View Christian today as they will look to get some hits in today.

So far this year the Panthers girls softball team is 0-3 in games this season. The Panthers started out with a 12-2 loss against the West Central Valley Wildcats, and two losses to the Pleasantville Trojans by a score of 19-8 and 15-3. The Panthers girls haven been getting solid production from a few of the bats so far this season as Jaidyn Sellers is currently batting .500 with 10 at-bats so far this year. Also, two freshman in Bridgette Ewing and Hanna Smith are batting a .333 on the season so far as this group of three are providing solid contact early in the year.

The Panthers girls softball team will get beautiful weather forecasted for today for the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend as they open up their first tournament of the season.
