Greene County High School head soccer coach Maribel Hernandez has announced team award winners for the recently completed season. The Rams were 1-10 and during the course of the season broke a 28 match losing streak.

Varsity letter winners are Madison Kinsey, Emma Shipley, Graci Cooklin, Kaitlin Fields Yanoris Aguilar, Esther Van Horn, Katrina Heupel, Bella Linberg, Zainysh Hernandez, Randa Linberg, Chanlyn Cunningham, Olivia Hoyt, Adi Gallagher, Sadie Shannon, Ava Schilling, Hallie Monthei, Savanna Shell, Payton Grow.

Heupel was named MVP of the team with Van Horn as Best Offensive Player. Shipley was named Toughest Defender, Aguilar as Team Spirit Award recipient, Hoyt was Most Improved Player, Gallagher Most Improved Forward, Fields was Most Improved Defender, Randa Linberg Most Improved Midfielder, Kinsey the Best Teammate Award, Hoyt received the Best Attitude Award, Cooklin the Role Model Award, Shannon hot the Good Sport Award, Fields and Shipley received Most Fun Player Awards, with Best Effort Awards to Savanna Shell, Grow, and Schilling. Bella Linberg and Kinsey received Leadership Awards, with Cunningham named the Most Energetic Player, Monthei the Best Communicator Award, and Hernandez the Love of the Game Award.
