9:12am: An officer took a report from a subject about a friend in Jefferson who is being abused by her husband. The friend advised that she is unable to come and report herself for safety reasons. The officer arranged to meet with the reported victim in a safe environment at a later time. Several audio recordings were provided to the officer and the investigation began.
9:47am: A caller advised his female neighbor requested he check on her around noon to make sure she was okay. The neighbor felt this was odd and called to report the conversation. Officers went to the residence in the 700 Block of North Chestnut Street and spoke with the female. She advised she was fine and did not need assistance from the officers.
9:39am: Merissa Olson reported unwanted contact from subjects in Jefferson. The officer spoke to the subjects, who advised the contact would end.
11:49am: Officers performed a Funeral Escort.
6:17pm: Russ Hoffman reported a semi with a blown tire driving near Elm and 220th Street. The semi made its way to a service shop for tire repairs.
9:37pm: A caller advised of small children riding a motorized toy car in the roadway in the 200 Block of West Russell Street. The officer spoke to the parents of the children about the safety issues involved.
11:48pm: Danelle Eastman spoke with an officer about a Civil Issue with a tool loaned out to a friend.
