Young women in the Panorama Community School District who are interested in learning more and potentially participating in the storied Panorama Panthers High School Girls Basketball program, today is the last day to get registered for an upcoming camp.

The 2022 Panorama Girls Basketball Camp will take place from July 5th-8th from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day. The camp is open to all girls entering grades third to eighth grade in the fall of 2022. The camp will take place at the Panorama High School either in the high school or middle school gym which are both air conditioned. The cost of the camp is $60 and checks should be made payable to Panorama Girls Basketball.

Those attending will receive instruction each day on the fundamentals of basketball and will also include contests with free throws, shooting and dribbling and more. Everyone will get to play in games each day and everyone will receive a camp t-shirt. There will also be camp awards for free throw and layup champion, coaches award, hustle award, most improved and offensive and defensive player.

The Panthers Girls Basketball Team has a history of success as a program as in their last decade of basketball they have a record of 212-33 with eight of those seasons seeing the Panthers girls win 20 games or more. In those ten seasons the Panthers girls have found themselves deep in the postseason multiple times including a state semifinal matchup in the most recent season where they finished with an overall record of 25-2 with a perfect conference record. The Panthers girls basketball team is currently coached by Head Coach Kylee Boettcher and routinely finishes at the top of the West Central Activities Conference standings.

The Panthers Girls Basketball Camp will get kicked off next month as the next group of Panthers girls basketball players continues to learn the love for the game.
