A fun event that will allow participants to explore art along with other activities is taking place today in Dallas Center. 

The Dallas Center Seasonal Fun Committee is hosting the Dallas Center Art and More celebration beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 4 p.m. today and there is no cost to attend. 

There will be a creative writing workshop with two sessions from 11 a.m. to noon and 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Library Community Room, a guitar jam session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sugar Grove Goods and a paint party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Walnut Street.

There are also plenty of other activities that are planned for the day including a sidewalk chalk project, movement and music for preschoolers, food trucks, live music and art among other things. 

Some of the activities require pre-registration and to do so and to find more information on the event you can go here walk-ins are welcome if there are still remaining spots.
