The next monthly coffee event for Greene County Veterans features a speaker about getting military veterans back into the workforce.

Greene County Veterans Affairs Director Michael Bierl talks about who the first guest speaker will be at their coffee get together on Thursday.

“Jeremy Frisbey is coming down. He’s a retired Navy veteran who’s with the Veterans Career Planners that partner with Iowa Works. So he can talk about career opportunities or voc-rehab, those types of things. It’s mostly geared toward veterans getting out of the military and coming back this way.”    

Bierl adds Frisbey can help veterans with job searches, resumes, as well as additional benefits for veterans. Each monthly veteran coffee event takes place the second Thursday of the month from 8:30-9:30am at Dunkers by Matt in Jefferson.
