Kenneth Briggs, Des Moines, was traveling west on I80 at the 102 mile marker, when the trailer he was pulling with his pick up truck was struck by a semi driven by David Herschberger, Clare, MI.  The trailer became detached from the pick up and landed in the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Briggs vehicle and trailer was estimated at $5000.  Damage to Mr. Herschberger’s semi was estimated at $8000.  Both vehicles drove from the scene.  The trailer was towed from the scene.

June 8

Marcus Mallory, age 33, 1111, 27th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While Barred and Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Santiago Quintanilla, Jr, age 33, 2021 4th St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was OWI and Eluding.

Ruben Diaz, age 26, 1278 SE Granite Dr, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Jaxon Hanselman, Earlham, was driving west in the 24000 block of 360th St, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000.

Connor Harrison, Adel, was driving in the 33500 block of Houston Trail when he lost control and the vehicle entered the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  The vehicle was pulled from the ditch by a tow service and then driven away from the scene.

June 9

Jacob Ladwig, age 19, 1115 Polk St, Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of Harassment.

Bryan Dindic, age 23, 2128 NW 156th St, Clive, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.
