A Scranton man was arrested for drunk driving.

According to court documents, a Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle that had no rear license plate light on 230th Street, west of C Avenue at 11:28pm on Friday. During the stop, the deputy noticed the driver, 30-year-old Joseph Hupp, had bloodshot and watery eyes, along with a strong alcohol smell coming from the vehicle.

Hupp agreed to a field sobriety and breath test. Court documents show Hupp failed part of the field sobriety test and the preliminary breath test resulted in a 0.222 blood concentration level. Hupp was then arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for an OWI. He was booked into the Greene County Jail.
