Families who may be looking for fun activities to take part in throughout the summer will have the chance to catch a free movie this week. 

The Movies in the Park series with Adel Parks and Recreation begins Friday in Evans Park with the free showing of “Sonic the Hedgehog” and everyone is welcome to attend. Popcorn will be provided and the movie begins at sunset. 

The other two movies of the summer will be shown on July 22nd at Island Park and August 27th at Kinnick-Feller Park all in Adel.
