Greene County head baseball coach Matt Paulsen has released final statistics from the recently completed season. The Rams were 8-15 and won a first round postseason contest for the first time since 2019. That victory was 7-0 over Panorama in the first round of Class 2A District 4 baseball. The season ended with a 7-0 loss to top ranked, undefeated, and three-time defending State Champion Van Meter in the semifinal round of district play.

The team batting average was .275 with two home runs, nine triples, 24 doubles, and 130 singles. The on-base percentage for the team was .360 with a .355 team slugging percentage.

The Rams attempted 78 stolen bases and were successful 67 times for a success rate of 85.9 percent.

Thirteen different pitchers tossed at least one varsity inning and the team earned run average was 5.25. The staff compiled 148 strikeouts in 146-2/3 innings pitched while walking 87 batters and hitting 37 with pitches

There were six seniors on the team with five or six starting most nights.
