Dave Wright has been Greene County Schools Activities Director for two weeks and the 1991 Jefferson-Scranton graduate is enjoying returning to his home county. He told Raccoon Valley Radio he’s able to focus on activities here, which is something he’s very much looking forward to.

“This will be the first time I’m a full-time Activities Director. I was at Bellevue, Iowa for the last 18 years. The first seven years I was a teacher and a coach, then the next 11 years I was Activities Director, social studies teacher part-time, Dean of Students, part-time, took care of attendance and some discipline, and I even had a bus driver’s license and drove a bus some, too!”

At Greene County, Wright is in charge of all activities on all grade levels.
