The River Ruckus music festival is fast approaching with many big musical artists that will perform all three days at the event.
River Ruckus Coordinator Grant Sheeder says this is the 14th year of putting on the festival. He says that this year will look different than last year.
“We’re looking forward to it. We’re excited about the artists we have coming this year. Seeing the fans once again, kind of being a little further out of, I guess, post-COVID. We’re excited to see a few more people this year, it looks like, through ticket sales.”
Sheeder adds that the lineup of artists will also be a change from previous years.
“More old school this year. In recent years, we’ve always kind of threw in some older school artists and people, our fans. We get a lot of good feedback from them and almost more and better feedback than some of the larger names of today’s, I guess you would call New Country.”
The headliner this year will be Clay Walker on Saturday and then there will be three artists performing on Thursday, four on Friday and six performing on Saturday. There is still time to buy tickets and reserve a spot on the fairgrounds. River Ruckus will take place at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds from July 28-30th.
