7:20am: Nicole Miller reported a “scam” involving a car rental company that requested prepaid debit card numbers be sent to them. The Officer explained that legitimate businesses typically do not require prepaid card numbers.

7:59am: A traffic stop at Westwood Dr. and Deer Run Rd. resulted in Paula Johnson, of Coon Rapids, being issued a citation for Excessive Speed.

4:21pm: An Officer located a disabled vehicle in the 900 blk. of W. Monroe St. that has been parked on the street in excess of the allowed time within city limits. The Officer began the process to have the vehicle moved.

7:34pm: A traffic stop at N. Elm and Central St. resulted in Branden Smith, of Jefferson, being issued a citation for Excessive Speed.

8:09pm: A traffic stop at Lincoln Way and Cedar St. resulted in Ashley Estell, of Yale, being issued a citation for Operating Non Registered Vehicle.
