Continuing with the theme of new businesses making their way into Perry, a popular coffee shop will soon arrive.
At the July 18th Perry City Council meeting they approved a site plan for a Scooter’s Coffee kiosk. The building will be nestled across the street from the newly built Kwik Star as new businesses continue along the First Avenue area.
City Administrator Sven Peterson says the building will be located between the Verizon store and Subway.
“Definitely some great, great development happening there on Highway 144. Scooter’s Coffee, drive-thru only. Just a small about 660-square feet kiosk, that’s kind of Scooter’s model if you have ever driven around in other communities and seen those small drive-thru kiosks. I think it will be a welcome addition to the community and we look forward to welcoming them.”
The Scooter’s Coffee location in Perry will join the other nearly 400 locations throughout the United States.
