A road in Guthrie County will continue to undergo construction.
Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern says they have done a lot of work on county road F-32 also known as 190th street that construction includes repairing the culverts, bridges and removing any brush. Sebern adds to complete that highway they will need to lay down asphalt and patching.
“Well, the first thing everybody’s going to notice is smoothness with the asphalt overlay. We are adding some additional thickness and multiple layers that helps with smoothness as well as it helps with the strength of the overlay to get more longevity out of it.”
Sebern notes they will start laying asphalt in September which will require one lane to be closed and a pilot car system to get motorists where they want to go.
