
The Class 2A Southwest District has released its 2022 baseball All-District selections and three players from Greene County High School were honored. Senior Bryce Stalder was on the first team at shortstop while senior Justin Stream was on the second team outfield and junior catcher Brayden Roberts was named to the second team.
Stalder led the Rams with a .476 batting average with six doubles, four triples, and 10 runs batted in. He was 22 of 24 on stolen base attempts and anchored the infield. He also was one of the top Greene County pitchers.
Roberts batted .344 with one home run, four doubles and a triple. He knocked in 11 runs. Stream played center field and hit .339 with a home run, seven doubles and 13 RBI.
Greene County went 8-15 under the direction of head coach Matt Paulsen. The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio only one of the teams in the district had actually played against the Rams.
