Success and Dallas Center – Grimes cross country have come hand-in-hand in the last few years, and they are hoping that 2022 will be go different.

For the boys team, they are the three time defending state champion as they were able to put up some special results in 2021, which concluded with a team score of 60 to just edge out Marion to take the state title. They were aided by Aiden Ramsey, as he was able to grab the state title with a time of 15 minutes and 36 seconds. DCG will have the majority of their team back this year, as they will be aiming for a 4th straight title.

The girls team was able to grab a 3rd place finish overall a year ago, as Maddy Stevens was able to lead the way with a 23rd place finish with a time of 20 minutes 2 seconds. That crew was able to place another top three performance, and hope to find similar success this year.

Both teams are going through offseason workouts this week, with the first practice of the season on Monday.
