The season preview continues for the Panorama Panthers football team and week six will feature a matchup against a Guthrie County rival in the West Central Valley Wildcats.

As District Seven football continues this season week six will feature the Panthers taking on the West Central Valley Wildcats who go the better of the Panthers last season by a score of 23-0 but the Panthers will be looking to even the score out this year.

Last season when the Panthers took on the Wildcats in Panora they were led by Austin Block who went 4/12 passing for 30 yards and Ryan Cogil went for 68 yards on 16 attempts while Gavin Godfrey had two receptions for 20 yards and Cooper Andersen had 10 tackles and one tackle for loss on the defensive side. Of these players only Cogil is returning this season as the rest were seniors last year.

For the Wildcats last year’s game was led by Braiden Beane who went 1/9 for nine yards passing but had 26 attempts for 130 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Hunter Keller also had 113 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns on the ground while Wyatt Clemetson had the lone reception for nine yards and Kaedon Lindsay led the defense with 9.5 tackles. Of these players all will be returning except for Clemetson and Keller.

The Panthers will be looking to even the score this season as they will be taking on the West Central Valley Wildcats in week six of this year beginning at 7 p.m. September 30th in Stuart.
