The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Charger football team collects a district victory over West Central Valley in week 4 of the high school football season.

The final score was 28-26 with the Chargers winning in comback fashion. The Chargers started the game slow with a 3 and out and a fumble on their first two drives. West Central Valley was able to capalize with a 42 yard touchdown from Braiden Beane and a one yard touchdown from Nate Gerling to go up 14 to 0. Late in the second quater, Brock Littler got something going with a big 90 yard kick off return to set up a one yard touchdown from Seth Reno. The halftime score was 14 to 6. After half time, Austin Kunckle scored a 80 yard kick off return for a touchdown to make the score 14 to 12. The Chargers traded score late into the third quater which ended up tying the game 20 to 20 going into the fourth quater. To start the fourth quater, the Chargers went on a 12 play, five minute for a total of 65 yard to score a 10 yard touchdown from Austin Kunkle to eventually be the game winner.

AC/GC gets their first district victory and will face Nodaway Valley for their homecoming game next Friday.
