The Guthrie County Extension and Outreach Office continues their program to help older folks learn about nourishment.

Assistant Program Director Katy Jimmerson says this program is for people who are 60 years or older that want to discuss nutrition and healthy topics. Jimmerson explains what people can expect when they attend this event.

“So Fresh Conversations is another one of our cooking series, just helping people learn how to make healthy meals that are going to be best fit for them and how to just best use your money towards your cooking.”

This is a free program that takes place at the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library every third Tuesday of the month. The next program will take place tomorrow. For more information contact the extension office.
