The Perry Chamber is seeking board nominations.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says four members of the 10-12 member board have their three year terms ending on December 31st and she adds you can self-nominate or you can nominate someone in the community who is chamber member business, organization or individual.

“So some of those names kind of resurface every year, but we’re always looking for new names, new faces to kind of come out of the woodwork and say, ‘I’m ready to step up and serve on the board of directors of the chamber.’”   

Pasutti notes the responsibilities of a board member include the ability to make decisions on behalf of chamber membership, adding monthly board meetings, as well as additional meetings as needed; participating on a committee and attending chamber-related activities such as ribbon cuttings. Nominations must be received by October 18th. Nominees will then be given an application to complete and all chamber members will vote on the new board members on November 15th at noon via Zoom.
