Commercial pesticide classes are currently underway with Greene County ISU Extension and there are a couple of upcoming classes slated for later this month.

Next Wednesday, November 9th will be a Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for Ornamental and Turf commercial pesticide from 9-11:30am in the meeting room of the Extension Office in Jefferson. There will be commercial pesticide courses, including Fumigation on November 15th and Commercial Ag, Weed, Insect and Plant Disease on November 16th. Both of those classes are also from 9-11:30am at the Extension Office.

“These trainings are to be recertified. But you must take the test initially.”  

You must sign up for the Ornamental and Turf class by November 8th for $35, or $45 after that. The deadline to register for the $35 fee for Fumigation is November 14th and the Ag, Weed, Insect and Plant Disease is November 15th, otherwise there is a $10 late fee after those respective dates.
