3:58am: A deputy investigated a truck in the ditch on 220th Street near J Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was not present.
7:09am: A deputy assisted a motorist that lost control of their vehicle and went into the ditch on N Avenue and 140th Street.
9:23am: A deputy investigated a backing accident on 9th Street and Main Street in Grand Junction. Brian Rothe 26 of Jamaica was driving a 2015 Kenworth with a grain trailer. Brian backed up from the intersection striking a 2014 Ford Fusion that was driven by a Juvenile. The estimated damage to the Ford Fusion is 500 dollars. The semi-trailer was not damaged. Brian was cited for unsafe backing.
11:30am: Katie Luth 31 of Farmhamville was booked into the jail for public intoxication.
12:36pm a deputy assisted a motorist on the 144 diagonal near 305 th Street.
12:36 pm: A deputy investigated a scam in the 200 block of North Wise Street, Paton.
4:00pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street and C Avenue.
4:26pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 400 block of Sand Street, Churdan.
6:06pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue. Francois Ferriera 32 of Grand Junction was westbound on 220th and lost control of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado on the bridge. The truck had an estimated 900 dollars damage after hitting the guard rail. The guard rail was no damaged.
6:45pm: The Sheriff, a deputy, and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue responded to a reported accident on the Overpass near Grand Junction on 220th Street. The vehicles had left the scene before anybody arrived.
7:05pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 500 block of State Street, Scranton.
8:46pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton. Darren Lehrkamp 30 of Scranton was arrested for domestic abuse assault 2nd offense, Assault, and interference with official acts.
9:37pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of East Percival Street, Grand Junction.
11:53pm: Darren Lehrkamp 30 Scranton was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault 2nd offense, simple assault, and interference with official acts.
Wednesday, November 16th
7:36am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on S Avenue near 130th Street.
8:43am: A deputy investigated a single accident on S Avenue near 130th Street. Jeremy Kennedy 41 of Grand Junction lost control of a 2004 Ford F250 entering the ditch. The vehicle had significant damage. Nobody was injured in the accident.
9:18am: The Sheriff, a deputy, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a medical call in the 300 block of 290th Street.
9:48am: The Sheriff, deputies, and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue responded to a two- vehicle accident on 220th Street on the Overpass near Grand Junction. Sameh Gerges 40 of Waukee was Eastbound and lost control of a 2008 Ford Econoline van striking the bridge sides. The estimated damage to the van is 10,000 dollars. Sameh was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. Johnathon Sprague 19 of Jefferson was driving a 2003 Freightliner with a grain trailer was also East bound on 220 th . When the van came to rest in his lane the semi took evasive action and also hit the concrete barrier but avoided the van. The estimated damage to the semi-tractor is 15,000 dollars. There were no injuries in the accident.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
