The 11th annual Raccoon Valley Radio Caring Christmas Food Drive continues to collect donations at many locations coming up.

The Big Red Radio and Little Big Red Radio will be at many locations around the listening area to collect donations to fill the local food pantries. The remote broadcasts start Tuesday at the Jefferson Fareway with M&W Ag Supply from 10am-noon and on  Wednesday from 4 to 6pm the broadcast will be live from Adel Fareway presented by Adel Winterset TV and Appliance. 

On Thursday  you’ll be able to catch the broadcast at Perry Hy-Vee with Perry Lutheran Homes as the sponsor from 3 to 5pm. Then on Friday, Junkyard Cafe will sponsor the remote at the Jefferson Hy-Vee Pharmacy from 9 to 11am. Additionally on Friday there will be a broadcast from Slumberland Furniture in Carroll from 3 to 5pm. To Start the weekend on Saturday Main Street Market will be the host from 10am to noon sponsored by Anita Supply Center and another broadcast will occur from 11am to 1pm on Saturday sponsored and hosted by Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson. 

All the food and money donations will go directly to the food pantry in the area. Raccoon Valley Radio reminds participants that donating to the food drive will also enter you into the Caring Christmas Cash Giveaway. Raccoon Valley Radio will be giving away three $1,000 prizes, one on each of the three stations KDLS, KGRA, and KKRF. You can register for the grand prize online. Every Christmas Cash Call registration box will have a scannable QR code that will direct you to a secure donation website tied directly to the food pantry in the area.
