Friday, November 25th
7:47am: An Officer issued a “Parking Violation Notice” in the 200 block of S. Olive St., to Jordan Sloan of Jefferson.
11:43am: An Officer was advised of a deceased cat on the road, in the 700 block of N. Elm St. The Officer removed the cat.
3:45pm: An Officer was advised of two dogs running at large in the area of Harrison St. and Cedar St. The Officer determined that the dogs had returned to their home prior to arrival.
4:36pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 100 block of N. Wilson Ave.
7:08pm: A traffic stop in the 1000 block of N. Elm St. resulted in Shannon Barnes, of West Des Moines, being issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”.
9:50pm: A traffic stop in the 1400 block of N. Grimmell Rd. resulted in Danielle Madson, of Jefferson, being issued a citation for “excessive Speed”.
11:21pm: An Officer was called to Cobble Stone Inn in regard to a dog causing a disturbance. The Officer issued a citation to Steven MeGonnell, of Adel, for “Barking Dog – Annoyance or Disturbance”.
******* As the result of an investigation that started on November 7, 2022, a juvenile has been charged with “Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon”, “Harassment-1st Degree”, and “Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon”.
Saturday, November 26th
7:34am: A Traffic Stop in the 1800 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Leah Barnes of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
1:47pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Street resulted in Charity Koory of NE. being cited for, “Excessive Speed and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
2:58pm: Kelly Greving requested an officer at 302 South Wilson Ave, for issues with her juvenile son acting out. The officer eventually coaxed the youth to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
3:55pm: A Traffic Stop near Cedar and Central resulted in an arrest. Michael Jon Molle, 60 of Jefferson was arrested for, “OWI 1st Offense – Serious.” Molle was also cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability and Operation without Registration.”
9:04pm: An officer was advised of a fight occurring outside 118 S. Chestnut Street. The officer determined juveniles were playing around and there was not a fight occurring.
9:48pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Christina Vinchattle of Boone being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
11:43pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 300 Blk. Of East Lincoln Way Street for, “Parked Across Sidewalk.”
Sunday, November 27th
3:17am: An officer located an Open Door at 407 East Central Ave. The officer secured the building.
12:48pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Mulberry resulted in Kale Petersen of Rockwell being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
3:51pm: Kate Mumma Law reported a dog dragging a chain in the 1000 Block of Westwood Drive. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
10:05pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1400 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Sumit Khanna of IN. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:57pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1400 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Alysha Steece of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Carry Registration Card.”
