A name brand tele-communication is celebrating with the Adel Chamber of Commerce with the completion of the Adel Rotary Plaza.
The T-Mobile Hometown Grant was a significant amount of money of over $40,000 that is to be used on a vital community development project. Chamber Director Deb Bengston tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is a prestigious grant that was critical in getting the project done and now T-Mobile is coming back to celebrate the completion of the plaza. She says they are bringing with them their 25 foot light brite display to 10th Street.
“So it’s going to be a lot of fun. T-Mobile is bringing lots of giveaways and items for people to learn more about them but also to celebrate their Hometown Grant program.”
There will be a formal presentation at 10:15am on Saturday from T-Mobile and then at 10:30 they will light up the display. Additionally, there will be a free will donation pancake breakfast at the Adel Fire Station from 7 to 10 am and then Santa will arrive from 8 to 10 am for pictures. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will also be there from 8-11am.
