Stuart residents may have noticed some work going on in town.

Public Works Director Jim Henderson says that utility crews are working on a water main project for the city. Work has been ongoing, and there is some large equipment being used to help get things done. Henderson advises residents to be vigilant when approaching the work area.

“Your vision might be obscured at intersections with the crews working, so just allow a little extra caution in those areas.”

There are crews currently working along Park Street, after having finished work on the water mains on Summit Street.
