Greene County was weathered out of wrestling at home on Thursday, and no school on Friday meant to basketball last night, which also was to have been in Jefferson. Basketball and wrestling are both on the docket in Carroll today.

Coach Zach Beekman’s wrestlers go to Carroll High for the Tiger-Knight Invitational starting at 10 a.m. The Rams feature past State Champions Kale Petersen and McKinley Robbins, who are both undefeated this far. Petersen has started the season at 132 lbs. and Robbins has been at 138.

Ram basketball has a non-conference girl/boy doubleheader in Carroll at Kuemper Catholic with the girls starting at 2 p.m. and the boys to follow. Coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com starts at 1:45 p.m. The Knights are 2-3 in girls’ basketball and 4-1 on the boys’ side, while the Greene County girls are 0-6 and the boys are 3-3.
