The Greene County Career Academy recently helped support the local food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center.
Over 30 Career and Technical Education students participated in interviews with Raccoon Valley Radio and the Caring Christmas Food Drive. Students talked about their experiences with the Career Academy and their selected pathways, along with how these classes that are taught by Iowa Central Community College will benefit their futures.
At the end of the two-day broadcasts, the students then helped load the RVR Big Red Radio with non-perishable food items, which were then donated to the ARC.
