The Panorama Panther girls basketball team had a big West Central Activities Conference match-up Friday night.
The girls were trying to hold on to their top spot in the WCAC standings. The Chargers were looking to beat the Panthers and possibly slide into the top spot. As expected this game was a hard fought battle for Panorama. In the first half it was a back and forth affair. The Panthers held a slight 27-25 lead at halftime. Panorama would pull away in the second half.
The Panthers would score 19 points in the third quarter and that would be enough to lift them to victory, 59-46. Panorama will move to 7-0 on the season and remain atop the WCAC standings. They’ll be back in action on Monday. It’ll be a road game against Harlan, tip off is set for 6pm.
