Raccoon Valley Radio is preparing for one of its yearly traditions.

The Holiday Music Magazines is something that Raccoon Valley Radio does usually the weekend before Christmas, and then on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, where holiday music is brought to the airwaves this time every year. General Manager John McGee explains the decision behind why people will hear more Christmas music during those times.

“The Holiday Music Magazines are a neat way to remind people of some of the true reasons for the holidays and to promote family. It’s exciting that we are able to offer this and the fact that our businesses sponsor these segments, and it’s a good way for them to say ‘thank you’ to their customers and patronage, and wish everybody a happy New Year.”

McGee adds that for this year, the Holiday Music Magazines will air from 1-7pm today and tomorrow, 1-10pm on Christmas Eve and from 6am-8pm on Christmas Day. Tune in at those times to enjoy holiday music on KKRF, KDLS and KGRA.
