Tonight is the night for holiday festivities in Menlo.
Christmas in Menlo will be going on today at the Menlo Community Building. Santa’s Workshop will be from 1pm-2pm, where people can decorate cookies, paint ornaments and more. From 2-3pm, there will be bingo for adults and children, with a meal to follow from 4:30pm to 6pm.
Santa Claus will be visiting to hear from all the children starting at 6pm and lasting until 6:30pm, and then to finish off the festivities, there will be a Lighted Christmas Parade starting at 7pm. The parade will line up on the road between the city park and the railroad tracks and on McPherson Street. Parade entries will be judged and the top three, along with an honorable mention, will be awarded prizes.
