Perry’s newest business is slated to open on Monday.

Scooter’s Coffee, which is located between Verizon and Subway along Highway 144, is owned by Dallas Center couple Troy and Kay Bauer, with Stan Eilers as their partner. The Bauers have also owned the Waukee Scooter’s location since 2019.

The drive-thru coffee kiosk was founded in 1998 and the business was approved, along with its 660-square foot facility, by the Perry City Council. 

The business will officially be open to the public on Monday.
