The Dallas Center-Grimes High School saw a lot of their athletes sign to play collegiate sports on Wednesday.

A total of eight athletes signed their letters on intent starting with Josh Hendricks who signed with North Dakota State University the Bison to play football next year. Hendricks in his career as a Mustangs had 101 total tackles and 9.5 tackles for a loss. Chase Behnkendorf will play soccer at the next level at Wartburg College,  who has started 39 games as a defender for the Mustangs. Trevor Hamil has signed to play baseball at NIACC. Hamil started eight games as a Junior posting a 3.96 ERA. Clayton Campidilli will be heading to Kirkwood Community College to play baseball and in his Junior season he hit an average of .435 with 90 ABs. Also Anthony Clay signed to cheerlead at Iowa Central.

As for the girl athletes, Jillian Janssen will play volleyball at Buena Vista as she started all 37 matches her Junior year. Laura Klaessy signed to play golf at Simpson College and Bailey Macumber will head to Simpson College to participate in track and field. Congrats to all the DCG athletes going to compete at the next stage.
