The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is getting ready for some fun events for the end of 2022 and start of 2023.

The library is continuing their food drive through the end of this month. They’re asking for non-perishable and unexpired goods. Anything donated will go to the Guthrie Center Food Pantry. Another event they have before the end of the year is the final December Story Hours on Friday. Along with the Story Hours, there will be a melted snowman craft.

On January 2nd, the library will be closed in observance of New Year’s. On the 10th, the “Krochet with Kim Club” will meet at 10:30am, and the library asks those wishing to participate need to email or call in advance. Also on the 10th, at 3pm, the Between the Covers Book Club will meet to discuss “Fragile Beasts” by Tawni O’Dell.
