Dallas Center-Grimes wrestling was back on the mat for the Bobcat Jerry Eckenrod Invitational Saturday.

The Mustangs finished fifth out of 15 other schools with 149 points. A major win for DCG includes Jacob Fistler winning the 170 pound division. Other top finishers in their respective weight classes are Lane Nelsen placing third in 195 and Ben Brushaber also collected third in the 182 pound division.

Their next meet will be at home against Oskaloosa on Thursday.

Dallas Center-Grimes girls wrestling finished high in the standings in their meet in Ogden Saturday.

They placed in third with 150 points. While no one for the Mustangs finished in first there were a couple of girls that left with a silver medal that includes Gracie Waage in the 110 division and Ava Gannon in the 105 division. And Asia Jahangir continued a fantastic season with a third place finish in the 130 pound division.

The next meet for the DCG girls will be on Saturday at Waukee Northwest.
