There was a two vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday in Perry that resulted in minor injuries. 

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an incident at 2pm on Highway 141 near 240th Street. Alan Wicks, from Minburn was driving in the 19000 block of 240th Street when he lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle driven by Stephanie Harrie from Dallas Center. According to the report, minor injuries were reported but no one was transported by emergency medical services. Wicks’ vehicle sustained $10,000 in damages and Harris’s vehicle endured $5,000 in damages. Wicks was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
