Iowa House District 23 Representative Ray “Bubba” Sorensen is ready for this legislative session, and he serves on different committees.

Sorensen tells Raccoon Valley Radio that he was named to the Appropriations, Education and Transportation Committees. He adds that he’s also the Chair of another committee as well.

“I was made chair of Economic Growth and Technology, which is the combination of the Economic Growth Committee and IT Committee of last year.”

Sorensen adds that he’s glad to be back on the Appropriations Committee, and to be heading the Economic Growth and Technology Committee, even if the combination of the two means double work for him.
